& with any ruck

And while so many people FINALLY find themselves up in arms regarding the contagious idiocy attached to blindingly obvious racial injustice (particularly throughout history in the United States of America) {as if any of this a fresh concept}—welcome aboard, by the way; better late than never—I’m over here stressed as hell about the fact that our entire galaxy hurtles through space at approximately 1.3 million miles per hour, which is absurdly old news.

And like…that’s SO fast, too.

And we (all) ARE spinning our wheels on this same planet, you know?

And yeehaw.

And Earth is just a magically wet rock ensnared by a star in a galaxy which houses BILLIONS of solar systems.

AND THAT’S JUST IN THE MILKY WAY.

And expanding on that point, especially for those of you (more locally obsessed simpletons) in the back, as many as 400 billion stars constitute the cosmic hurricane through which you live and breathe.

And there are roughly 100 billion galaxies in the observable universe!

A challenging perspective:
A million seconds = 11.5 days
A billion seconds = 31.7 years
A trillion seconds = 31,700 years

Grasp that. I dare you to consider yourself as having been dared.

And do some math, people. Water your brains. Sprout a more globally inclusive mindset.

And we are ONLY this big.

And we’re tiny!

Specks of dust dancing around upon a mote of matter.

In other words, we are all part of a single race on one miraculously unique planet.

And we’re not all on the same TEAM yet?

OMG WTF.

And we play the same game. Have you heard of it? It’s called life.

LIFE.

With which our home (world) teems.

And this is not a dream.

Recognize where/what/who you are.

We have bigger fish to fry than each other, don’t you think?

And, together, we wield a diamond-tipped needle in the roughest of infinite haystacks.

And we’re on freaking fire, folks!

And our aim must be true.

And this has to end.

And time’s up.
